Okay, I get your point. I think I'll stop calling those three valved student model horns "euphoniums." To people who only play these instruments in high school this instrument will always be a baritone horn, so I'll let it be. But calling the mostly conical four valved compensating instrument a "baritone horn" will only confuse most people on a list like this.
I'm curious, how do you differentiate between the English-style baritone to what most of us would call a euphonium?
