Tonight on Public Television is supposed to air a Detroit PBS produced special of the Mahler enhhancemnents to the Beethoven 9th performed by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra under Jarvig (the DSO owns the score). The most significant change to mention on this bb is the inclusion of a TUBA part, plyed by Wesley Jacobs. In Detroit we had a premier Tuesday but unfortunately I cant say much about it, I missed it do to the great snowfall in the Detroit area.
