All joking aside, I have an UGLY Yamaha 321 4-valve (OK - "EUPHONIUM". There, I SAID "euphonium".) with some cracks in a couple of the tubes heading out of valve casings...old "fair" ("D+") case included. Quite playable - cracks could be sealed with epoxy, if extreme economy were desired.
I would think that it SOUNDS as good as any 321...' just ugly.
I'd make everything work and make it clean prior to shipping. I could even do a cheapo epoxy job over the cracks, if a buyer wished (certainly not the "accepted" way to fix cracks, but effective.). I could send pics so an interested party could see just how funky it is... (scroll down)
