When I bought my St Pete from Die Tuba, I got the case with it. I was very disappointed, it was mostly styrofoam and 1/8" veneer. The screw holding the hinges popped out and that was the end of that. I communicated with David Fedderly and he found a Hirsbrunner case for $350. It's excellent! Made of plywood it's really sturdy. I mounted 8" wheels on it so I can go over rough ground, over curbs, and up and down stairways with ease. The recessed minitature plastic wheels I have seen on factory cases suck!
