Tim:

The T.U.B.A. issue was Volume 25, No. 2 - Winter 1998.The article title
was "Great Tubists Talk".

I was thinking about my original response and I have to apologize if it
sounded harsh. It was not my intention. My thinking was more that you
currently own what I call a "money horn", meaning a horn that you can play
in most any situation, any ensemble. To give that up for a larger horn
may limit your opportunities. I would keep the HB and work toward acquiring
a larger horn (as we would all dearly love a BAT). Your second horn, if
you don't have one already, should be a F or E-flat, then go for the BAT.
Just my 2 cents.

Take care & happy holidays

Michael
