I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but you may have a slight allergy to silver. I am not familiar with this problem, but I know a lot of people have success with gold plated or plastic (delrin, lexan, or polycarbonate). Hopefully someone else responds with a little more familarity, but the fact that the one spot never or is resistant to leave could be indicative of an allergy to the silver plating.
