I haven't been able to put it to the test yet, but BiNaK 495 supposedly resists freezing.
Last year my brass group (Airborne Brass) played for a Turkey Giveaway for the underprivileged. Our solution was frequent breaks to warm up our horns in a nearby hotel lobby.
This year I hope to set up a propane heater nearby so we won't get so cold. ;-)
