Typically, I've found that a red ring around the mouth created as a result of pressure is due to having not enough air support and relying on pressure rather than air to form notes. Does this sound similar to your problem? If so, you may wish to practice some breathing exercises before your practice. Practicing mors might also help alleviate the problem, but not if you keep pressing.
