If you really want to play some exciting and extremely challenging pieces, look for some classical period violin/cello or flute/cello music. The cello parts transcribed for tuba can be very difficult, especially since they're written without breathing in mind. You have the option of reading them as written or down an octave. The violin part is easily transcribed for flute. Most of the violin/cello duets that I've played are very beautiful. You may wish to look for works by Beethoven, Hoffmeister, and Lee.
