Dr. Donald Stauffer, in his "A Treatise on the Tuba" (1989,Stauffer Press,Box 101082, Birmingham, 35210) shows a Bohland & Fuchs tuba, claimed to be the biggest tuba in the world. It's from Kraslice, Czechoslovakia, is eight feet high and weighs in at 176 lbs. It's built in BBBb. Find a gig bag for THAT horn! By the way, Dr. Staffer has done some great historical research on the tuba. The "Treatsie" is a great addition to your library!
