At least one person out there feels that the 1290 is a real good buy, and that it plays as well or better than some tubas that are much more expensive. Anybody else have this opinion as well? Looking through the archives, I also notice that there had been a few 1290's put up for sale. Opinions seem to be very strongly divided. So let's hear it folks, I'm gonna' have to travel a long ways to test play a 1290, I think.
