Brian Bowman (US), Tom Burge (Aus), Steven Mead (UK), Toru Miura (Japan), Jun Yamaoka (Japan), Greg Aitken (Aus), Sho-ichiro Hokazono (Japan), John T. Mueller (US), Kaoru Tsuyuki (Japan).

Reproduced below is my post titled "Re: Tubamania Results/Reports?" from about four threads. (Sorry for the repetition, but I thought it might prove convenient for some.)

TubaMania (Australia) Competition results

** TUBA **

Sergio Finca QUIROS (Spain)
Perry HOOGENDYK (Holland)
Roland SZENTPALI (Hungary)

Winner: Roland SZENTPALI

Ryuji USHIGAMI (Japan)
Scott KINMONT (Australia)

Winner: Scott KINMONT

Many from all corners of the conference mentioned Oystein Baadsvik's recital performance as a highlight. But as you would expect, everyone had great brass playing coming out of (or should I say going into) their ears!

I had the honour of being a Jury Member for the Second Round of the tuba competition, which was a great experience, and a chance to hear some excellent music-making. I also performed with Jun Yamaoka (jazz euphonium player) in his concert.
