First thing...I freaked out when I saw that a "Steve Morgan" was putting up posts on the BBS. That is my dad's name. I was beginning to wonder when my dad took up the tuba. Anyhow, I own a CC and an F tuba. You may need to find a mouthpiece that works for you on specifically F tuba. I use a Schilke Helleberg II on my 2165 CC tuba but I use the smaller Schilke 67 (modified) for my F tuba. My tuba teacher uses the same HUGE mouthpiece for both CC and F tuba and has no problem....why...I have no idea. But for you, you may consider a similar but smaller mouthpiece. Good luck!
