I have been told that EVERY Miraphone 186 starts out the same, and then they just pick the ones with slight manufacturing defects to be the "s" series horns, and then they just don't do as much with silver and nickel plating on some of the parts. This can't be true or nobody would buy them...right?
I assume that both the "pro" and "s" line 186 BBb Miraphones play quite similar, and I think that the 186 "s" seems like an excellent deal, and a lot of tuba for the money.
