I think your logic is correct, but again, would this enable the euph to play double pedal B-flat and notes below it? How about a attachment in C as opposed to one in D? While I realize that it would just be easier to buy a French 6-valve to accommodate said intentions, I have no such such ambitions. The truth is out there.
