The PT 4 IMO, is a really small 4/4 horn. I'm not a huge fan of PT's, but yet I don't hate them. They are just to easy to play and the sound that comes out isn't what I want in a tuba sound. Your best bet is to go someplace like WW&BW, Dillon, Custom Music, Tuba Exchange, and just tryout every horn you can.
People on here can only tell you what they like and not what's right for you. If you want to know, I'm looking at getting a Rudy Meinl or possibly a Meinl Weston. I currently own a Kalison Daryl Smith and I'm tired of all the problems I'm having with it.
