My school quintet is going to L.A. the first weekend in February (with a jaunt to Oakland to finish the trip), and I was wondering if I would be lucky enough to find someone with a BBb (hopefully) to borrow/rent cheaply (i.e., name the beer), rather than dealing with the hassle of taking my own along.
For what it's worth, I've got a VMI 3302, and anything identical or close would be best; 5 valves would not be necessary.
I'm extra-concerned about the timing of this trip because my senior recital is scheduled to be the Sunday a week afterwards, and I don't want to have to risk putting my tuba in the shop during the week in between.
Any ideas, suggestions, help, etc., would be, uh, helpful...
