Hey Folks -

Well, as we all know here in the U.S., the big annual U.S. Army Band
Tuba Euphonium Conference is just around the corner. As usual, the
T.U.B.A. Journal will be covering all of the concert/lecture events
that take place during the conference.

And, as the guy who is once again coordinating the coverage of the
conference, it's time for me to solicit your help in assembling a
"reporters" team! Since the Ft. Myer show is free (YEAH!!!!!!!!),
and it is an easy driving distance for a lot of folks in the U.S.,
I'm hoping that once again some of you will step forward and volunteer
to cover an event.

I'm not asking you to be a critic - think of it more as a "book report"
to be told through the Journal for the folks who weren't fortunate
enough to be there in person. You do not need to be an accomplished
writer, either. Anyone who is a first year college undergraduate
student (18) or older may volunteer to be a reporter. You will receive
proper credit in the T.U.B.A. Journal, etc. Hey, you'll be published!

;-)

I am going to cover two events myself: the Saturday Morning Masterclass
with Roger Bobo, and the closing Saturday Night Grand Finale Concert
with the U.S. Army Band.

Here is a list of the other events that need covering, and who is
performing at each event:
