I have been playing on a yamaha YBB-321 almost exclusively for about 3.5 years and it has served me well in bands, orchestras, and solos. People on this BBS don't seem to like them but I love mine. It has some intonation issues but all horns do. If it had a fifth valve or a lever to adjust the first valve slide I wouldn't even consider switching to a "better" horn. My horn has held up well too. I need to get some new pads for the inside of the valves and a new guide for the first valve (It has goten a little chewed up over the years but thats my fault). I am playing on an old YCB-661 to learn CC tuba fingerings and I like that horn as well. There piston tubas are better than their rotory tubas though.

Viva Yamaha!
