I think that Nirschl horns are swell. I've only played the 4/4 and own an earlier 5/4 prototype. The intonation is fine, but what I really enjoy about the instruments is the response. The sound really leaps out of the bell.
I'd favorably compare the 4/4 with any other 4/4 on the market.
