Rudy Muck "cushion rim" mouthpieces were made in New York from 1930 until the 50's. I have some Rudy Muck trumpet and trombone mouthpieces but I've never seen or heard of a Rudy Muck tuba mouthpiece. They are typically small diameter, wide rim, extremely V-shaped cup, very heavy, and play very well for what they are. The rim shape in tuba terms would be comparable to a Bach 24AW. I have a photocopy of an original Rudy Muck catalog, and it does not list anything but trumpet and trombone mouthpieces.
