I just flew to Switzerland and back with my YFB-621 in the factory case. I had no problems until my last connector flight from JFK to BWI where some yahoo decided to skip my horn across the tarmac. At any rate, the bell got a nice crease. Luckily, the airline agreed to fix it and I have a good repairman.
The case held up well, but as Emily Harris pointed out to me....the "bubble" in the case where to valve cluster is located is probably the weakest part of the case. Not worth the chance to me....
The moral of the story: Get a good flight case or lots o' insurance!
