I just had it done. I have a 5/4 CC Kurath Perantucci. I first had a new brace attached to relieve tension on the lead pipe. Then I had Cryogenics International in Scottsdale , AZ freeze it. They took it to -320 F in 14 hours, left it there for 24 hours and brought it back. I have noticed several things. The horn centers pitch better. The shelves are smaller. The sound is slightly more resonant. I paid $250 for a 27 lb. horn. I'm not sure I recommend it.
