Do your children happen to be boys?? There are more candid pictures of me with colorguard and majorettes in my HS yearbooks than you would believe. I actually had the opportunity to point this out once when hanging out with some friends of mine when someone insisted on "takin' a look at the yearbook." My point - girls. There are plenty of girls in band. I know, it's pretty shallow, but they may end up putting a horn to their face and actually enjoying it. If your children are girls, well.......?????? I don't know if you would call this reverse or perverse psychology, but it could be the icing on the cake. Just sayin'.
