Ahhhh... No. No more carpal tunnel. We redesigned the Yamaha to "contrabass style" valves for a reason. A convertible tuba with top action valves is not very ergonomical. It is bad for your right hand wrist to supinate so much. Side action "contrabass style" valves are so much better for you.
As a band director, I completely understand why Weril would want to make this instrument. It's tough to be able to afford a complete set of marching and concert tubas. But these horns aren't great marching horns.
