Either go to school early or late and grab the "recital" or "concert" hall if possible, ask for a key to use an appropriate hall after hours, or practice outside. I did all three when in school. I rarely used those practice rooms, as they were inadequate for anything more than warming up (IMO). You might have to get up early (a real shocker) as the campus police normally don't mind people using a hall at 7:00 AM, but most music professors are not going to be using those rooms at that time. If nothing else, once or twice a week or even on the weekend should be enough to help reinforce what the real "room" sound you are producing is.

Playing outside is nice because you get little or no reflection. This help to build a good deal of embouchure strength. However, I would say you need to check this with some inside pratice to make sure nothing is getting out of hand.
