Find someone to teach you. Don't be bashful. The local schools have band directors who would, in all likelihood, be willing to spend a little time with you for a price. If you want to be completely self taught, find a Suzuki style method for piano to learn how to read music.
You can find many books that show you what an embouchure should look like but unless you are playing for someone on a regular basis anything can happen. I just think your progress will be much faster if you go to a teacher.
