if your a complete beginner, i'd recomend the "red" book, I forget the name of it but when I started it was merely called the red book.
it starts out dog simple, then goes to the "blue" book and gets more indepth and so on.
Great way to start, its how our band starts students in band. Does anyone else know what book im talkin bout?
