I've played Eb since 1958 and have just recently begun to experiment with BBb and F fingerings. I was surprised to find that after a month or so that I can now pick up either a Eb horn or a BBb horn and after once or twice up and down the scale can get along OK. I'm just curious how many of you 'fluently' switch off on tubas with different fingerings? Do you still have one key that you feel 'best' with?
