Of course there were naysayers, nitpickers and geeks! I showed videos of Arnold Jacobs and these people always existed. For everyone who would want to hear this, there are three that claim it is nonsense - goes with the territory. Mr Jacobs advocated loose musculature, especially in the lower abdomen which was against the old school "Tight gut" method from the 19th century. I got videos of him calling it nonsense - of course feathers are being ruffled! Can't figure out the flute crowd on this, those in the know loved it, can't tell about the others. On the other hand, when I did this at the tuba shows I can say the same although tubists have heard this for 50 years.
3/4 pound chili dawgs are a whole lotta hot dawg - should have had one.
