Thanx guys, I went ahead and did a quick snag of another piece, but my recorder cut it off (AT) 60 seconds.
This was really the first time I ran through the piece today so its not very good.
This is all region stuff, If I do well enough on all region I can tryout for all state(Same music) If I make all state, I would be the first one from my school in a long if not ever.
I'd like to make all state but I really have no clue how close I am to being that good of a player, or if I am. I am told I am 'expected to' but really.. dont' all band directors expect their students to over achieve :-p
My other two tunes are from the blossevich (sp), Boy o boy.. They look so easy until you attempt these things, I can get through them but the high parts still choke me up at times.
Thanks guys, Im hopin to get some private lessons somewhere in the near future once school is underway. Hopefully I can put in a good 30 minutes a night or more if all goes well.
