I'm reconsidering Horovitz for my solo choice because I'm having a hard time finding a place to obtain it quickly. I can obtain Symphonic Variants by Curnow in about a week if I choose to buy it. The problem is I see it on a lot of graduate audition lists and rarely on undergrad auditions lists. Dr. Moore, what do you think about it. Would you recommend me playing it for an audition or is it too hard?
