DEG Caravelle tubas were the same as the current "Shafer" and "Dynasty" models, though parenthetically there is also a much larger "Dynasty" model that is made by Willson (same overall size as the Willson 5/4 BBb and CC models).
Your "Caravelle" (like the current "Dynasty" 845M) is a well-made Taiwan copy of the fairly popular 3/4+ size King BBb model 1140M.
The picture is of the current DEG Dynasty (same as your Caravelle). Many will recognize this as being virtually identical to the King 1140M in size and design.
