I play in a very large (560) adult marching band. In the 2000 season we did a medley called "Big Band Tribute" which consisted of 42nd Street, Sing Sing Sing, Hey Pachuco, and Big Noise, all tied together with drum solos. It sounded great and so far is my favorite show. Then last year (2002) we did Big Noise again.
I'm sure we did the version you mentioned because it has a 7-bar drum solo followed by a great bass part.
I checked out our website to see if there was an MP3 file of that routine, but no luck. I do have a CD of that performance.
