I personally don't care for it at all. The horn has a small sound, akward ergonomics, and the smallest valves (only 4 at that) I've ever seen on a tuba.
Intonation was ok...nothing special but it wasn't "bad" either.
Quality seemed a little sub-par also.
I think that for the money you could do much better than the Holton.
Just my opinion...I know there is at least one person on this board that recently got a Holton H.P model CC and they love it. It just isn't the horn for me.
