Thanks Chuck (Jackson) for your honesty. I remember when we were at the School of Music together in the fall of 85. God...that long ago?

Anyway, the US Army Field Band is a great band as I have been in the Army for over 18 years now. If you want more info, go to www.bands.army.mil and go to the "search" link for active army bands. From there you can enter the link for the US Army Field Band. They are on the road around 3 months a year or so. Please get in touch with either MSG Paul Martin (Clarinet Section Leader) or CPT Paul Bamonte (Assoc Conductor). in general, the Army Band Program has been my way of life for my adult life and I could not envision myself doing anything else-getting paid to play euphonium! Been to every country in Western Europe, most of the 50 States and enjoyed it all! Good luck with whatever you decide and check out the $65,000.00 in student loan re-payment...
