As to the work required, the one I played must have been a real winner, or maybe I was Superman that day, but it seemed to just play without me having to do any special work. The B&S, on the other hand, seems to require the special work. The Willson was warm and friendly, unlike the 3100 BBb which has always seemed a bit distant.

Intonation? Read down a few threads, and you'll see that I'm not qualified to judge. Whatever intonation I produced on the Willson fit with my expectations, for better or worse.
