Two of these sold on ebay within the past year or so for under $3000, plus a later, recording bell version sold for about $3700 sometime in the past year. All of them were in playable condition. I have also seen a couple available at some music stores. There aren't that many around, but with patience you could probably find one.
Top action big Conns are much more common, both with and without short action valves, and are usually available for reasonable prices, like the one currently at Baltimore Brass.
