You said the T is "way too big", but if the high range is flat the backbore probably needs to be bigger! Actually the T4 backbore is probably too small for most horns, based on the feedback I've gotten. Try a T5 if you think you can handle it. I will be working on improving them soon.
Plan on November or December for almost anything ordered now though.

The difference between backbores is the taper inside. The 4 is best for smaller 4/4 horns, the 5 is approximately for 5/4 horns, and the 6 is for larger 5/4 or 6/4 horns. I hope that makes it understandable.
