Yesterday I purchased a King 1240 that is in fair condition. The valves however sound like a diesel motor and are kind of stiff. It has a fantasic sound but has been sitting for many years. Basically my question is what do I to get rid of the diesel motor sound and should I pay the money for an acid dip?
