I had a real problem when I bought my 2341 because none of the mouthpieces that I used regularly would seat; a Dillon G3, a Bach 18 copy, and a couple of others would rattle around. I finally fixed the problem by buying a Rudy Meinl 1 (which goes in to within a half millimeter of the end of the shank) and having an ancient and abused Mt. Vernon Bach 18 reshanked and refinished by Lee Stofer. The Rudy Meinl works the best for me.
