I own an old York BBb which is in very rough shape. Although dent wise it's in great shape. It's in silver, with quite a bit of wear. She also leaks, and is unplayable. All three valves work fine though, and all the parts are there. The serial number is below 1300, whick puts it around 1900. Its the oldest York tuba that I have ever
heard of. QUESTION -- Do you think that this beast would be worth a couple of grand or so get back in good playable condition? Although I don't play tuba anymore, (switched to bass trombone and euphonium), I think this might be a valuable horn. Any thoughts out there?
