Does anyone know where you can still get the RPO/Ashkenazy Shostakovich cycle on CD ?
I heard the live concerts on their tour several years back - amazing !! But I know have to
replace some of the CDs that I had and am having difficulty in finding them.
Tho one I'm most interested in finding is Symphonies 3&12 ; absolutely incredible
tuba / bass trombone sound throughout . Judging by the tours, this was Chris McShane
on an EEb !!!
Anyway any help would be very much appreciated.
