Apparently, according to the owner of the Mr.Tuba site, which is a tuba reselling store of Hirsbrunners, B+S PT series models, Mienl-Westons, and Kalisons, the Kalison models like the DS, and the Professional 2000 do have intonation problems, but the new generation models like the K2001 Cc 5/4 have been improved remarkably. I currently play the Professional 2000 and anything above a high Bb, or Cc doesn't sing that well, which is why I'm purchasing a new instrument.
