This tuba could have been a B&S Perantucci PT-4. If so, $6000 sounds like a fair deal for a good condition horn. If it has rotary valves, it is a PT-4. If it has piston valves, it is a PT-4P. The address for the specs on both tubas listed below. The tubas shown are lacquer, but are available in silver plate.
