If you look at it from the perspective of getting the most for your tuition dollar, Ed Jones at the University formally known as East Texas State (now Texas A&M-Commerce) would deserve a strong look. The school is still relatively inexpensive and Ed is a great player and teacher. Commerce isn't a great college town, but it's close to the Metroplex. I didn't go to school there, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend TAMU-C to anyone serious about playing.
