I owned a brilliant B&S F in Gold Brass. Best tuba I've had above the low C#!!!! But the C and B let me down badly. Time is too precious to spend that much effort on TWO NOTES and not using that time on the MUSIC!!It's back in Germany now. I think it's a case of if you grow up with something efficient it's hard to change. If you have that inefficiency from when you start it must be easier.
