Just to silence all of the critics out there:
The next contest will be done over a field which will be covered with a layer of trombones, trumpets and french horns. This will provide a softer landing for the tuba for any of the critics/activists out there.

p.s. I hope everyone understands this is a joke. As for the comments on us tubas players acting as "Gorillas" I highly resent that. Throwing a tuba which has no value for the interest of fun and comraderie in our cummunity is fine with me. Please done take yourselves so seriously.
