The serial number you gave is MUCH more recent.
I bought a new Mirafone in 1983 (f.w.i.w.$3200) serial number 12453.
Maybe some helpful souls will offer the s/n's for their recently purchased horns.
If that horn has 4valves, AND you love it, offer them 3500...they should go for it!
