OK, since I'm king of the weird questions, why stop now?
I received an e-mail from Dietrich at Gronitz, which stated that he greatly preferes to make BBb/F double tubas, rather than CC/F double tubas. It had something to do with where the two low ends meet, or some such thing. That got me to thinking, wouldn't a CC/G double tuba therefore be a possibility, and maybe even desirable? Alright, flame away. I've earned it.
